AFJ's 2017 Islamic finance survey now open

Submissions are now open for Airfinance Journal’s Islamic Finance Survey 2017.

In its first year, the survey intends to analyse the Islamic aviation finance market and provide readers an understanding of the trends.

Islamic finance is a vital source of financing for airlines across the world, as well as a key part of the Middle East’s aircraft finance market. Airfinance Journal therefore wants to recognise the companies that are active in this field.

Airfinance Journal encourages the following parties to submit details of their Islamic finance activity for the past year:

  • Islamic finance arrangers
  • Islamic finance debt providers
  • Airlines that financed their fleet with Islamic finance structures
  • Law firms that advised on Islamic finance transactions

Information is sent to us on the understanding that it will be published. However, due to the sensitivity of some of the deals, we allow parties to mark certain parts of their submissions as “confidential”, meaning the information will only be used for our reference and not published.

Please ensure the information that you wish to keep confidential is clearly marked as such.

The deadline for submissions is 10 September, 2017. Submissions received after this date cannot be included in the survey. Results of the survey will be published in the October/November edition of Airfinance Journal, which will be present at our Annual Middle East conference in Dubai in early October.

Please download the submission form here and enter your deals into the Excel spreadsheet and email it to jack.dutton@airfinancejournal.com.

Please only include Islamic finance transactions that have closed between closed between 24 August 2016 and 24 August 2017

If you have any queries about the Islamic Finance Survey 2017, please contact Jack Dutton (editor) on (+44) (0)207 779 8029 or jack.dutton@airfinancejournal.com.
